Ferrania Orto ist der schrullige Cousin des P30 und zeichnet sich durch denselben hohen Silbergehalt, denselben starken Kontrast und dasselbe praktisch unsichtbare Korn aus wie der P30 - aber dieses Mal mit einem ganz anderen Charakter - orthochromatisch.
In den Anfängen des Stummfilms war das Filmmaterial blauempfindlich oder orthochromatisch. Hollywood verließ sich auf Kosmetika als "Korrektiv" für die Schauspieler auf der Leinwand. Hundert Jahre später sind genau die "Fehler", die unsere Vorgänger geplagt haben, heute die kreativen Merkmale, die orthochromatische Filme auszeichnen.
