Bergger Variable CB is a variable contrast, warm black photo paper. The fiber-based 280 g/m² double weight base helps this paper to produce exceptional results. The paper is produced by Harman Technology on behalf of Bergger and is on a par with Ilford Warmtone, but it is by no means the same product. Bergger Variable CB responds to different developers with significantly different image tones and can produce anything from a soft tone to an exceptionally hard tone. By using a light filter during exposure, the gradation can be flexibly controlled.

The gradation extends from 0 to 5.
